Welcome, I’m Eleanor
A clinical psychologist and academic researcher based in Melbourne, Australia.
I work on Fridays in Prahran and I am currently accepting referrals.
About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across both public and private settings. I work with people of all ages, with a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults.
I work with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, substance use and body image concerns. I believe in the importance of spending time really getting to know my clients and developing a shared understanding of their strengths and difficulties. I value integrating evidence-based approaches into therapy in a way that feels practical, flexible, and responsive to each individual.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I aim to create a space that feels safe and genuine, where clients can be open and feel understood, while also being willing to gently challenge unhelpful patterns and support meaningful change. I believe therapy works best when it feels human rather than clinical, and I try to bring that into the room.
Alongside my clinical work I am also a research fellow in youth suicide prevention research at Orygen (part of the University of Melbourne), and I have worked for over 12 years in this space. I am passionate about using my clinical experience to enhance the relevance and quality of my academic work, while also using my academic work to guide my delivery of high-quality and evidence-based psychological treatment.
I am currently working on Fridays out of a beautiful clinic called Wellspace Psychology in Prahran. I am currently accepting referrals from anyone aged 16+ for face-to-face sessions. I offer a free discovery call to all prospective clients.
